Marny E. Witas, PT joining IHCM later this summer!

Marny E. Witas, PT, has been a Pelvic Health specialist for over 30 years. She has spent her career pursuing advanced post-graduate education to continually develop and refine her skillset. By blending her extensive orthopedic background with a whole-body, multi-system approach, Marny identifies and treats the underlying biomechanical drivers that influence pelvic health. Her care integrates pain science education, individualized movement strategies, neuromodulation, electrotherapies, and advanced manual techniques—including visceral fascial mobilization, myofascial release, joint mobilization, and dry needling. This comprehensive approach supports patients with persistent pelvic pain in calming the nervous system, restoring function, and achieving meaningful, lasting relief. Marny is highly skilled in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor muscle function, including internal assessment when appropriate, and works collaboratively with each patient to ensure care feels safe, informed, and aligned with their goals. She works with adults and older adolescents of all genders, addressing persistent pelvic pain, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, and pre- and post-operative care for abdominal and pelvic surgeries. She also helps patients restore bowel, bladder, and sexual function. Marny has a special interest in supporting women across the lifespan, including those preparing for pregnancy, navigating the physical demands of pregnancy, and recovering in the postpartum period. She also works with women in the perimenopausal and menopausal phases, addressing changes in bladder, bowel, sexual health, and musculoskeletal function with the same individualized, whole-body approach.
