Membership Model Announcement 4/2025

Dear wonderful patients of Dr. McCloy,

We want to tell you about an important change at IHCM.  We have struggled with this decision for quite some time, but the current economic situation has forced us to look for creative ways of keeping our doors open and paying our staff a livable wage.  Like many practices offering personalized direct healthcare, we need to maintain a financially viable business through a membership model.  Starting on June 1st, 2025, we will implement a $40 monthly service charge for all active patients of Dr. McCloy.  The family rate is $100 per month. Patients who are just coming for intravenous therapies or laboratory draws are excluded. 

This service charge covers all the specialized services that Dr. McCloy currently offers including direct communication access, 24-hour on-call coverage, medication refills, discounted laboratory pricing, and brief online inquiries.  In appreciation of your ongoing support of our practice, members will now enjoy a 10% discount on all IV therapies!

All patients who have seen Dr. McCloy in the past 3 years will be automatically enrolled in the membership program.  If we don’t have a credit card on file for you, our staff will contact you for this information.  You may cancel your membership anytime, but you would no longer be an active patient of Dr. McCloy.  You are welcomed back to the practice but will have to be on his waiting list, currently 2-3 years long.  

Most direct primary care practices have similar (but more expensive) membership models.  We realize this impacts all our patients.  There is assistance for individuals experiencing financial hardship– please contact our staff for details.  Thank you as always for seeking the best health care available – your investment in yourself is invaluable!  With gratitude, Be Well.
