PortalConnect is our Electronic Medical Record system that provides:
• Anytime access to your medical records for download or printing. Review lab results, diagnoses, and treatment plans online.
• Secure, encrypted communication to our providers and staff.
• Online appointment scheduling from anywhere. Make appointments from your computer or smart phone.
• Electronic prescription renewal for your convenience.
• A free patient education library to keep you and your family healthy.
Registration details:
All patients of Dr. McCloy and Dr. Chester must register for PortalConnect. (Why? See the Frequently Asked Questions.) You will need to provide your credit card or debit card information to register. After 30 days of free use of this convenient, secure system, you will be renewed for an annual plan ($69 for individuals, $99 for families). You may cancel anytime during the free trial and you will not be charged.

1. Why do I have to register for PortalConnect? In order to provide affordable, excellent health care to you, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is a must. Most EMRs cost thousands of dollars a year to practices ($20-$40K or more annually). Hello Health is affordable to our small business because of its unique payment model. A low overhead for us means lower fees for you. Remember, you don’t have to pay the annual fee (although we think it’s a good value for what you get), but Hello Health does require you to at least register.
2. Is my information secure? Absolutely. Hello Health keeps your financial and medical data encrypted and secure. It is HIPAA-compliant, conforming to federal law for privacy standards. This is one of the biggest appeals of the system: standard e-mail is unsecure and we don’t feel comfortable sending medical information through it. With PortalConnect, all communication is encrypted.
3. How do I register my minor? Please use the Family-Guardian plan. It is $69/year if an individual minor registers. Family plans are $99/year, up to 12 members.
4. I see multiple providers at IHCM. Do I need to register all over again? No, one registration covers you for all providers at IHCM.
5. Can I cancel my account after the 30 day free trial? Unfortunately PortalConnect does not refund the annual subscription fee.
