Chiropractic Care & Wholistic Healing Arts
Dr. Angela Lemire D.C. graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa with a B.S. and a D.C. Her journey to chiropractic began in Livermore Falls, Maine where she was raised in a chiropractic family. She was influenced early by her father who sparked her interest in providing true wellness care. This and an innate desire to serve others by helping them reach their potential led her to study chiropractic. After graduating in 2013, she returned to Maine and began working as an associate at Nadeau Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Augusta, Maine in 2014.
“Chiropractors often speak of “subluxations” in the spine. These are the areas that we determine are in need of adjustment. Through self-reflection, study, schooling, and meditation, I have come to view the “subluxation” as something more than just a condition of the spine. I view it as any disconnection or interference in our bodies, minds, and spirits that prevents us from expressing our full potential. Simply put, if nerve signals are sent for a specific purpose BUT interference in your body lessens, prevents, or distorts the signal, the desired outcome is altered. This can infinitely change infinite aspects of our being. It is my goal to help you to reestablish your connection to your source by removing these interferences in body, mind, and spirit. To do this, I utilize traditional chiropractic adjusting with a hands-on approach and muscle testing to provide the best specific adjustment that will suit the patient in that moment. The techniques that I utilize to provide chiropractic care are Diversified, Applied Kinesiology, Flexion-Distraction, and Thompson Drop. I incorporate Reiki healing as a Reiki II practitioner as well as knowledge gained from a 200-hour yoga teacher trainer certification course.”
This combination is Dr. Lemire’s personal approach to facilitate the removal of interference in the energy system and increase the expression of full potential. Wellness is the goal and this is achieved with the alignment of mind, body, and spirit by incorporating movement, thinking, diet, and stress management skills individually for each patient.
Dr. Lemire spends her free time enjoying yoga, trail running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and furbaby.
